1. I took off work for and drove 40 miles to watch her perform for her dance class and then take her out to dinner. She broke down in hysterics thinking about her ex.
2. She would text me at 5 AM, knowing I had gone to sleep at 4 AM because I worked nights, just to tell me how shitty the traffic was on her drive or some other mundane fact about how her life sucked.
3. She got back together with her ex, and they were now engaged to be married…and is still using me as a shoulder to cry on whenever he’s out playing golf and being a loser.
