We’re excited about the growth of WhyMyExSucks, and love that the user submissions generate vibrant discussions. And we’re grateful to our loyal readers. You guys are awesome.
However, there are a number of readers who prefer to troll this site, using the comments to blast mean and hurtful things at the brave people who submit. This is unacceptable.
This site is a place to commisserate, because anyone who submits clearly has a terrible ex and needs to get it off their chest.
It is not, however, a place for people to bash submitters, using sexism and passing harsh judgments all day, every day. It scares away submitters, commenters and anyone who has a shred of decency.
The sad part is that these few trolls seem to constantly defend the worst of exes, with the nastiest of language. No doubt they have all the time to do this because they are submission-worthy exes themselves.
We’ve already banned one user, and will not be afraid to continue to use this banning tool liberally. Please keep this in mind as you post your comments. For the vast majority of you, you can forget you ever read this. But for those who know this is directed at them, this is strike one and strike two.
